Third Annual ETSU Orthopedic Symposium (2026)

This symposium provides up-to-date guidelines on a number of orthopedic topics in a format that is easy to understand and put into practice.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (12.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (12.00 hours), Occupational Therapy (12.00 hours), Physical Therapy (12.00 hours)

1. Identify current guidelines and be exposed to cutting edge research in the field of orthopedics.
2. Identify mechanisms to implement measures needed to enhance or mantain health and function of orthopedic patients.

 

Nursing Credit: Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University designates this activity for a maximum of 8.5 participation hour(s). Up to 8.5 continuing education credit(s) can be claimed by using the non-physician credit statement. This can be accepted for both Tennessee and Virginia nurses. 

 

PT/PTA credit: In accordance with 1150-01-12 (3) of the Tennessee General Rules Concerning the Practice of Physical Therapy, this activity is designated for a maximum of 8.5 hours of CEU credit for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. 

OT credit: This activity is designated for a maximum of 8.5 hours of CEU credit for occupational therapists.

Medial/Trauma for EMS: This program is designated for a maximum of 9.0 in-person credit hours in Tennessee.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to East Tennessee State [email protected].
