2024 TN Sex Offender Treatment Board Monthly Lunch & Learn -Sexual Reconditioning 5/16/2024

The Tennessee Sex Offender Treatment Board, housed administratively with the Tennessee Department of Correction, has been providing specialized training to mental health providers specific to the area of sex offender treatment for over twenty five years. The TN SOTB wants to offer a lunch and learn series via Zoom to approved providers.

Instructional Level

The instructional level is intermediate for this series.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), American Psychological Association Credit(s) (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours)

1. Participants will learn criteria for deviant, victim, and consequence scripts
2. Participants will learn the proper audio-taping sequence of the scripts
3. Participants will learn the curative factors of sexual reconditioning

Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University, designates this activity for a maximum of 12.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits^TM (1.0 CEU per session).   Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

APA Credits: Frontier Health is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Frontier Health maintains responsibility for this program and its content. The participants will receive 1.0 hours of credit for each session. Full attendance at each session is required.

Information and documentation will be provided to attendees so that social workers may receive NASW credit.
