Lectures provided by staff surgeons for primary care physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners with group discussion, and Q & A. Our goal is to help area mid-level providers be able to recognize disease symptoms, know which diagnostic tests to order, and how to identify an appropriate surgical candidate.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (2.00 hours), ABS CC (2.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (2.00 hours)

1. Understand the recomendations for breast cancer screening
2. Know the types of breast cancer
3. Recognize signs of carotid artery disease
4. Know what diagnostic test should be performed
5. Recognize a hernia
6. Know how to diagnosis a hernia
