Leaders from CHI Memorial Stroke and Neuroscience Center will address the most current patient care practices in the field of neuroscience to help providers improve clinical practice and outcomes in neurological and neurosurgical conditions. Topics will include basics of neurosurgery neuroanatomy, neuroanatomical basis of neurological disease, clinical localization and imaging correlates, new developments in cryptogenic stroke diagnosis, aneurysm, carotid stenosis, management of chronic arthritic low back pain, and frontline seizure management.

CME Credit: Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University, designates this activity for a maximum of 6.00 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nursing Education Hours: Up to 6.00 (6.00 CH) continuing nursing education hours have been approved for this session of the program. East Tennessee State University College of Nursing is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Physical Therapy Credit: This activity is approved for PT CEU Credit.

TN EMS Credit: Approved by the TN Office of EMS for Continuing Education Hours for a total of 5.50 CEUs in the Cardiac/Medical/Trauma category for EMS personnel. Can also be used as 5.5 hours of Critical Care for individuals with a TN Paramedic Critical Care license.

GA EMS Credit:
Georgia accepts reciprocity from other states for EMS credit.

Social Work Credit:
