Global Health Education Program - Belize (Virtual Series)

ETSU Faculty and Students wish to provide a series of continuing medical education topics to improve care of patients in Belize. We are working through their Ministry of Health and their Western Regional Hospital to provide these sessions - taught by ETSU Health faculty. Topics to be covered initially are Obstetrics, Pediatric and Emergency Medicine related topics. Additional topics may be added in the future involving other evidenced-based topics.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (2.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (2.00 hours)

1. Better diagnose and treat Pediatric Illness - such as Respiratory Emergencies, Trauma, and Accidental/Intentional Ingestion
2. Better diagnose and treat Obstetric-related problems - such as pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, ectopic pregnancy, and post-partum hemorrhage.

 

CME Credit: Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University, designates this activity for a maximum of 2.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits^TM . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to East Tennessee State [email protected].
