To provide opportunities for professional development to each faculty member in the areas of discipline content, curricular design, program evaluation, student assessment methods, instructional methodology, and or research to enhance his or her skills and leadership abilities in these areas; which will in turn improve the quality of education provided to students at QCOM. All core faculty are practicing clinicians, who lead both pre-clerkship and clerkship courses. Licensed physicians are central to delivering education at QCOM, and this education will reach basic scientists as well.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (2.00 hours), General Attendance (2.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (2.00 hours)

1. Become familiar with physician health and wellness, illness and impairment
2. Learn about Boundary Violations, Disruptive Behavior, Addiction and Impairment and how they can end or derail careers
3. Become familiar with the Physician Health Programs and how to get help
4. Differentiate Medical Boards, regulatory Medicine and PHP’s
