Course Description

The 37th Annual ETSU Pediatric Conference is geared towards providers who care for children in East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Northwest North Carolina, and Southeast Kentucky. Please join us as we discuss a number of clinical topics where new evidence is emerging for the prevention and treatment of pediatric conditions.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (7.00 hours), ANCC Contact Hour(s) (7.00 hours), General Attendance (7.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (7.00 hours)

1. Discuss current guidelines and how to best practices to utilize these guidelines to make informed diagnostic and therapeutic decisions based on current scientific evidence in the areas of new biologics in eczema, pediatric cardiology, THC use in adolescents, introduction of allergenic foods and infant nutrition.
2. Identify mechanisms to implement measures needed to enhance or maintain health and function of pediatric patients and prevent disease.

East Tennessee State University College of Nursing is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Total hours 7.0 which includes 2 pharmacology hours

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. The discount rate will be in effect until 5pm on July 5th, at that time, any rooms not reserved will be released.  If you call to reserve a room after July 5th, you will receive the best available rate at the time of booking.
