Overview

In an effort to meet the needs of all healthcare providers, this conference is being offered as a hybrid event. Our speakers will be presenting live in Sevierville. Registrants may attend in person or virtually. As you register, please choose either an in-person or virtual registration type.

The 21st Annual Update in Acute & Emergency Care Pediatrics Conference is a result of collaboration between Children's Hospital at Erlanger, Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, East Tennessee Children's Hospital, Children's Emergency Care Alliance (CECA), and the East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine Office of Continuing Medical Education.

Using interdisciplinary approaches throughout a series of plenary and breakout sessions, learners will be able to develop skills surrounding pre-hospital care of the medically complex child, as well as skills for the pediatric trauma patient. This program is designed for providers involved in the diagnosis, treatment, transportation, and management of pediatric trauma patients in Tennessee, Virginia, and Georgia Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Units.

  2. Be better prepared for complications that caring for pediatric population present in the acute setting.
