Lunch presentation presenting updates in the field of obstetrics and gynecology to include technology advancements and gender and generational shifts in the workforce that have impacted practice. There will also be a focus on changes in communication between physicians and hospital personnel to include medical records, contacting providers, and shift in focus of morbidity and mortality sessions.

"Reflections of 50 Years of 'Progress' in the Field of Obstetrics and Gynecology: What We Can Learn from Our History" by Dr. Sharon Phelan 

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours)

1. Describe at least four technology advancements that have impacted practice.
2. List at least four ways in which gender and generational shifts in the workforce have impacted practice.
3. Describe the general changes in communication between physicians and hospital/clinical units/other physicians – include medical records, contacting providers, and shift in focus of M&M sessions.
