QCOM Faculty Book Club - 3/22/2023

To provide opportunities for professional development to each faculty member in the areas of discipline content, curricular design, program evaluation, student assessment methods, instructional methodology, and or research to enhance his or her skills and leadership abilities in these areas; which will in turn improve the quality of education provided to students at QCOM. All core faculty are practicing clinicians, who lead both pre-clerkship and clerkship courses. Licensed physicians are central to delivering education at QCOM, and this education will reach basic scientists as well.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (4.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (4.00 hours)

1. Discuss concepts, principles, and ideas presented in books selected for their relevance to faculty roles and medical education.
2. Evaluate the implications and utility of the concepts, principles and ideas presented in books selected for their relevance to faculty roles and medical education.
3. Discuss, collaborate about, and apply of the concepts, principles and ideas presented in books selected for their relevance to faculty roles and medical education in to improve practice in faculty and medical education roles.

 

Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University, designates this activity for a maximum of 4.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits^TM . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellation Policy
